You can participate in the work of Mission:USA in several ways.
ATTEND THE BRIDGE
For people who are coming out of incarceration, addiction, or the street lifestyle, you’re always welcome at The Bridge! Please call our information hotline at 888-DA-BRIDGE for the latest details. Remember to leave your name and a callback number if you need additional information. And we can’t wait to see you on Tuesday!
If you are not a part of our core program demographic, you are welcome to request an invitation to visit The Bridge service. We’d love to connect with you! Please do not attend without contacting us. In most cases, we’re able to accommodate requests to visit and participate. You can contact our office at 708-771-8007 or info@missionusa.com.

BE A HOST TEAM
Our Bridge Host Team Program is an ideal way to participate in and contribute to The Bridge! The program is a one-night cross-cultural experience for groups who want to serve. Teams range from 6-10 people, and are often part of a church or support group. The Host team brings and serves a meal for after the service. They also greet the attendees and help with childcare.
This is a great "entry-level" service opportunity for people with little or no experience. We provide orientation and training to help all of our first timers feel at ease. Being a Host Team is a one-night commitment, although many of our teams enjoy it so much that they serve on a regular basis.

Most host teams report this experience as being very much like a missions trip, only at a fraction of the cost (of airfare, lodging, etc.). We hear exactly the same thing each week, "Don't thank us for helping; we got more out of this than we gave!” That fun and excitement is what The Bridge is all about.
Although many of our Host Teams come from the Chicagoland area, we’ve had many out-of town Host Teams from Hawaii to Minnesota to Tennessee!

VOLUNTEER
We always need help! Please contact us about any of these opportunities.
- We need drivers for picking up and taking home attenders to our Tuesday night Bridge program. You can drive your large vehicle or one of our 15-passenger vans
- Equipment transport and set-up for our Tuesday night Bridge program
- Our women’s program would like some helpers for our craft outreach
- Mission:USA offers internship opportunities for people in college; Tuesday nights at our Bridge program is the central commitment

- Pens (no pencils)
- Notebooks/journals/note pads of all sizes
- Art supplies - colored pencils, markers, adult coloring books, sketchpads
- Kitchenware utensils, storage containers, water bottles, mugs
- Free giveaways like you get from trade shows or your insurance agent
- Playing cards and puzzle books
- Masks and hand sanitizer
- Sweatshirts and pullovers
- Gloves, Hats, socks
Give Financially
IMPACT!
$30 helps land a job by taking a Bridge attender to lunch and a job fair.
$50 gives 30 recovering addicts new strength and hope with food and supplies for an outreach event.
$75 provides 180 people with transportation to the Bridge with a tank of gas for one of our vans.
$18,000 ensures that 60 people each week will have Bridge transportation with a much needed gently-used 15-passenger van.
