Current Ministries

The flagship, street outreach program of Mission:USA is our Bridge program, which you can read more about here. In addition, we perform cutting-edge ministry to at-risk young people online - more information about that is available in our Media section. However, tightly integrated into these cornerstone outreaches are three specialized, targeted ministries that deserve specific mention:

Hope and a Future

We launched our women's ministry in the fall of 2009, when Jane, Tasha, and Hallie began a new initiative to intentionally build discipleship relationships with the women who came to The Bridge. Our team focused on one-on-one conversations, and followed up with phone calls during the week to encourage ladies who were new to The Bridge.

The new women at The Bridge felt so loved that they came back and brought their mothers, friends, cousins, and children! Within a few months, our team had their first women's meeting.

Based on decades of experience ministering to women behind bars, as well as young women in gang organizations, our team crafted a meeting and program focused sharply on love, support, and mutual respect. This focus has worked tremendously well, and Hope And A Future continues to grow and thrive in its outreach to women in the inner-city.

Deacon's Division

Our Deacon’s Division is a program in which men and women who are products of the ministry can serve in a more intentional way with our Bridge ministry while also functioning as part-time employees of Mission:USA. These men and women serve in a variety of ways, including everything from driving vans to carrying equipment, to delivering food to partner housing organizations

Training and Speaking

Mission:USA is internationally recognized for its expertise in prison and aftercare ministry.  As a part of this, we have provided ministry training to Willow Creek Community Church, Saddleback Church, The Salvation Army, and senior leadership for Presbyterian, Lutheran, and Baptist denominations. We are pleased to provide training to pastors, churches, youth leaders, prison ministries, and other ministry personnel--both volunteer and paid staff. We have a burden to share our cutting edge techniques with you and help you adapt them to meet your special needs. We want you to reap the benefit of the hard-won and cutting-edge ministry strategies we've developed over our many years in this most challenging mission field. Contact our office at 708-771-8007 and we'll be happy to work out the details with you.
